Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
 

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Consultant Data Entry Operator (CDEO) shall be responsible to support the AI-assisted mammography team. The role involves transcribing, formatting, and drafting mammography reports and other documents related to mammography and ultrasound. The DEO will work closely with radiologists, technicians from DR RMLIMS, partners and the team to streamline documentation and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(1) Medical Transcription and Documentation:

(a) Accurately transcribe and type mammography and other radiology reports, dictated by radiologists;

(b) Format and proofread reports for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with departmental and institutional standards;

(2) Data Management:

(a) Organize and maintain electronic and physical patient records, including mammography images and diagnostic reports;

(b) Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations such as per departmental and institutional standards;

(3) Communication Support:

(a) Will be responsible for informing women or attendants about report collection in person or via telephone call;

(b) Will be responsible for handing over the printed reports to the woman or her attendant and ensuring acknowledgment in the appropriate register;

(c) Will be responsible for informing women or attendants about ultrasound and biopsy report collection in person or via telephone call if Women, once the department receives the report;

(4) Workflow Coordination:

(a) Support radiologists and technicians in managing reporting workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of diagnostic reports;

(b) Identify and address discrepancies or issues in documentation processes;

(5) Any other job assigned by the office from time to time.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must be 12th pass in science stream or any graduate from a recognized board.

(2) Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a medical typist, transcriptionist, or in a related role in healthcare;

(3) Familiarity with radiology and mammography terminology is highly desirable;

Skills and Competencies:
(1) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel;

(2) Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60-70 words per minute and excellent accuracy;

(3) Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive patient data responsibly;

(4) Strong organizational and time management skills.

(5) Understanding of medical and radiology terminology;

(6) Ability to adapt to new technology;

(7) Effective communication skills in English and local language for interacting with departmental team members and women or attendants.

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The monthly consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 22,000/-

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
