Job Description

1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - Data Entry Operator, International Not-for-Profit Organization (INPO), Wardha, Maharashtra

 

2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:

 

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Consultant - Data Entry Operator at Wardha will be responsible for following work;

 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

 

(1) Entering and Updating Data:

(a) Inputting data from physical documents (forms, invoices, reports) into digital systems;

(b) Updating records in databases, spreadsheets, or custom software;

(2) Organizing Files and Documents:

(a) Filing hard copies or scanning and organizing digital documents;

(b) Maintaining proper filing systems for easy retrieval;

(3) Handling Office Communication:

(a) Receiving and replying to emails related to data issues;

(b) Coordinating with other departments to confirm or collect missing data;

(4) Generating Reports:

(a) Creating and printing reports for supervisors or departments;

(b) Formatting data in Excel or similar tools for presentation;

(5) Maintaining Office Equipment:

(a) Using scanners, printers, and computers efficiently;

(b) Reporting technical issues to the IT department if needed;

(6) Confidential Record Handling:

(a) Managing confidential documents like employee records or customer data;

(b) Ensuring compliance with data protection policies;

(7) Support Administrative Tasks (if required):

(a) Assisting with photocopying, printing, or mailing;

(b) Helping with front-desk or reception duties occasionally;

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must be Graduate in any discipline;
(2) Diploma or certification in Computer Applications, Office Management, or Data Entry Preferred;

(3) Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as clerical or data entry tasks;


Skills and Competencies:
(1) Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

(2) Typing speed of 40–50 WPM with accuracy;

(3) Strong attention to detail;

(4) Effective time management;

(5) Basic computer literacy (file management, internet use, office equipment);


5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 1000/ Day (120 Days in 6 Months);

6. LOCATION: Wardha, Maharashtra

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

 

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of six months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
