Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization (INPO), Jaipur, Rajasthan.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant for Swasthya Bhawan, Jaipur, Rajasthan will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Provide technical and programmatic support to district-level stakeholders involved in Born Healthy to strengthen ANC;
(2) Assists Senior Program Officer to achieve project deliverables and timelines as per desired quality and specifications;
(3) Assess and supervise the utilization of technology platforms within healthcare delivery infrastructure in the state;
(4) Coordinate and communicate the collection of data from its point of origin; facilitate the preprocessing of data to locate missing records and follow-up with facilities, states and program staff for completeness of data as necessary and enter the data in the assigned formats;
(5) Perform data entry efficiently, systematically and regularly maintain back-up of data;
(6) Verify accuracy of the data entered into the computer by performing periodic data quality
checks; prepare and submit reports to the supervisor;
(7) Maintain timelines and accuracy in submitting up-to-date activity logs and completed data entries, follow-ups, and quality checks and maintain the documents and report files;
(8) Assist in data collection and conduct field visits for follow-up assessments as needed;
(9) Conduct/ support trainings of the data record reporters from the program facilities as needed;
(10) Coordinate with and provide support to field staff for data cleaning and data consistency;
(11) Develop and maintain database for capturing the programmatic data and maintenance of queries and programs for analysis and related reports;
(12) Monitor and ensure timely dissemination of data, indicators and reports;
(13) Support Jhpiego's program implementation with data-management for program decision making as per the M&E Plans and prepare reports and factsheets;
(14) Design and develop data management tools in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access for Jhpiego Programs;
(15) Support in documentation of various project results/processes and development fact sheet for strategic sharing and dissemination;
(16) Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure sound functioning of the office and achievement of program goals;
(17) Support supervisor in the development of technical content required for the program and travel when required to Districts in support of activity implementation and monitoring as needed;
(18) Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must be Bachelors in any stream;
(2) At least 8 -10 years, experience of working with Government of Rajasthan especially NHM will be preferred;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
(2) Typing in both English and Hindi;
(3) Good documentation skills;
(4) Data management and analysis;
(5) Knowledge and experience of working in government setup up and Data systems;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The monthly consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 35,000/- and overall CTC for 12 months is INR 420,000/-.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of twelve months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
