1. POSITION VACANT: Head of People and Culture, Reputed Non-Profit Organization, New Delhi

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Head of People and Culture (HPC)will own the organization's people strategy and lead the end-to-end people function, from strategic vision to operational delivery. This role ensures alignment of culture, organizational design, and talent capabilities with business objectives. It demands a leader skilled in strategic HR leadership and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
(A) Strategic Leadership & Organizational Alignment:
(1) Define and execute a comprehensive people strategy that supports organizational vision, business priorities, and culture-building objectives;
(2) Collaborate with senior leaders on workforce planning and structure optimization;
(3) Contribute as a core leadership team member to shape culture, performance, and overall effectiveness.
(B) Talent & Capability Development:
(1) Establish frameworks for leadership development, succession planning, and talent management;
(2) Lead programs to build capabilities and prepare for future challenges;
(3) Lead learning and development programs that focus on both functional and behavioral excellence.
(C) Performance, Rewards & Recognition:
(1) Design and implement performance management systems that foster accountability and meritocracy;
(2) Oversee compensation, rewards, and recognition programs that balance competitiveness with equity and motivation;
(3) Ensure that reward mechanisms reinforce desired behaviors and organizational values.
(D) Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing:
(1) Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture with ongoing improvement;
(2) Implement engagement, communication, and wellbeing efforts to boost retention and morale;
(3) Advise on cultural shifts, change processes, and leadership practices.
(E) Governance, Systems & Analytics:
(1) Establish and maintain robust people policies, processes, and governance mechanisms;
(2) Oversee compliance, ethics, and data integrity across all people practice;
(3) Utilize analytics and digital HR tools to enable insight-driven decisions, workforce planning, and operational efficiency.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Advanced degree (e.g., HR, Business Admin, Org Psychology, or equivalent);
(2) 12+ years in HR, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles;
(3) Track record in major people projects, transformations, and leadership development.;
(4) Experience managing complex, multi-location or matrix environments preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strategic mindset for turning ideas into practical plans;
(2) Deep understanding of organizational culture, change management, and leadership dynamics;
(3) Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills;
(4) High emotional intelligence, maturity, and discretion in handling sensitive situations;
