1. POSITION VACANT: Lead – Human Resources, A Reputed Specialised Care and Support Services Organisation, Pune, Maharashtra

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Lead – Human Resources will anchor the full spectrum of HR functions for a staff strength of 150–200 personnel across clinical, administrative, and support roles. The position requires a professional who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of strengthening people processes, ensuring compliance, building culture, and supporting teams working in emotionally demanding settings. The role focuses on creating a compassionate, values-led, engaging, and future-ready workplace. 

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

A. HR Strategy & Culture Building
(1) Partner with leadership to design and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational values of empathy, respect, and service excellence.
(2) Drive culture-building interventions to nurture a supportive, inclusive, and purpose-led work environment.
(3) Promote behaviours and practices that enhance psychological safety, teamwork, and trust.

 

B. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
(1) Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
(2) Lead the recruitment cycle across functions, focusing on hiring individuals suited to care-oriented roles.
(3) Design and run structured onboarding programmes to help new employees integrate seamlessly into a sensitive, people-facing environment.

 

C. Employee Lifecycle Management
(1) Manage confirmations, transfers, role changes, separations, and other lifecycle processes with transparency and compliance.
(2) Ensure documentation accuracy, adherence to organisational policies, and timely closure of all HR processes.

 

D. Performance Management

(1) Implement the organisation’s performance management framework and support managers in goal-setting and reviews.

(2) Facilitate continuous feedback mechanisms and help create a culture of fairness, accountability, and development.

(3) Coach managers on effective performance conversations, especially in roles requiring emotional maturity.

E. Employee Engagement, Welfare & Wellbeing
(1) Develop and implement engagement plans suited to a healthcare or people-support environment.
(2) Lead wellbeing initiatives that address stress management, resilience, and emotional support.
(3) Serve as a trusted and approachable HR partner for grievances, concerns, and team dynamics.

 

F. Learning & Development
(1) Prepare and roll out Individual Development Plans (IDPs) across functions.
(2) Coordinate behavioural and technical training programmes, including communication, empathy, and leadership development.
(3) Support capability-building efforts to ensure team readiness for current and future needs.

 

G. Compliance & HR Operations
(1) Ensure 100% adherence to statutory compliances and internal HR policies.
(2) Maintain audit-ready records, HR documentation, and employee data.
(3) Drive consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures across all units.

 

H. Organisational Development & Change Management
(1) Support organisational restructuring, new process rollouts, and change initiatives.
(2) Conduct skill assessments, talent reviews, and help identify high-potential employees.
(3) Enable smooth transitions during growth or transformation phases.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification:

(1) Applicants must be Post graduates with a Specialisation in Human Resources.

 

Experience:

(1) 10–12 years of experience in HR, preferably in healthcare, social impact, or people-intensive service sectors;
(2) Proven experience managing HR for 150–200 staff.
(3) Strong grounding in employee relations, compliance, HR operations, and performance management.
(4) Proficiency in MS Office; comfort with HRMIS platforms.

6. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
