Job Description
1. POSITION VACANT: Lead Programme – Foundation Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), CSR Foundation, Mumbai
2. ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a leading Indian CSR organization driving inclusive development through impactful programs in Rural Transformation, Education, Health, Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, Urban Renewal, and Arts, Culture & Heritage in collaboration with public, private, and community partners.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and oversee the Foundation’s Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programme.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Support the development and lead the overall foundation’s FLN programme strategy and operations.
(2) Lead the FLN programme development, management, and execution of existing and new programmes, drawing from experience to provide sector specific inputs on how to maximize impact on the ground.
(3) Manage foundation’s FLN partnerships, liaising with national and international partners in implementing large-scale programmes that improve learning outcomes of children at the bottom of the pyramid.
(4) Contribute to FLN programme design and implementation including providing inputs on outcome metrics, performance management systems, and collaboration plans (e.g. with the government and/or NGOs)
(5) Act as liaison and manage the relationship with any technical implementation partners.
(6) Work with senior stakeholders across foundations to leverage the organization’s expertise in the FLN education space to bring insights and best practices into our programmes.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicant must have Post Graduate Degree in any of the fields related to the development sector.
Experience:
(1) Minimum 7-10 years of social sector experience.
(2) Thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in one or more areas.
(3) Should have international experience (Preferred).
(4) Should have experience with managing large-scale education programmes (Preferred).
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong communication and influencing skills.
(2) Ability to control processes and activities in a result-oriented manner and work effectively to tight deadlines.
(3) Ability to manage a team.
(4) Capable to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
5. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
