Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
Ø Lead the entire project lifecycle for outreach and community health programs, including defining scope, setting goals, developing project plans, and managing timelines and budgets.
Ø Develop and implement outreach strategies targeting underserved communities.
Ø Plan and coordinate eye screening camps, school vision programs, and mobile eye clinics.
Ø Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables for outreach programs.
Ø Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient service delivery during camps.
Ø Develop and manage program timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Community Outreach and Engagement:
Ø Serve as a primary liaison between the hospital and the community.
Ø Build partnerships with local NGOs, government bodies, and community leaders.
Ø Represent the hospital in public forums, health networks, and donor meetings.
Ø Coordinate with sponsors, donors to mobilize funding, and resources.
Ø Develop and implement outreach strategies to effectively communicate program offerings and promote community participation.
Ø Represent the organization at events, conferences, and community meetings.
- Reporting and Evaluation:
Ø Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of all programs.
Ø Collect, analyze, and report on program data, providing regular updates to senior leadership team and stakeholders.
Ø Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and grant applications, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
Ø Continuously evaluate program performance and recommend data-driven adjustments for improvement.
- Budget and Resource Management:
Ø Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring all initiatives are executed within financial constraints.
Ø Track expenses, manage contracts with external vendors or partners, and secure necessary resources.
Ø Explore and pursue grant-funding opportunities to support new and existing programs.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Ø Lead and mentor project teams including clinical staff, volunteers, and administrative personnel.
Ø Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Ø Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members for their capacity building for outreach programs.
6. Communication and Reporting:
Ø Work with the communications team to document success stories and case studies.
Ø Prepare donor and internal reports on program activities and outcomes.
Ø Contribute to funding proposals and grant reports as needed.
7. Deliverables and Accountability:
Ø Seamless execution of the Outreach Programs.
Ø Effectively screening of the patients.
Ø Well versed training program for the community health workers and visitors.
Ø Cost effective resource utilization and budget management.
Ø Promotion and execution of campaigns for the awareness of the eye health with the technological developments.
