3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAMS-STC is seeking a motivated and skilled WD to join our development team. We are looking for someone with solid hands-on experience in web application development and a strong grasp of ASP.NET MVC, C#, jQuery, and related technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with an experienced technical team to design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications that support our growing suite of digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Contribute to the development and maintenance of ASP.NET MVC web applications;
(2) Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C#;
(3) Implement client-side features utilizing jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX;
(4) Perform database operations using Entity Framework or other ORM tools;
(5) Diagnose and resolve issues within existing applications;
(6) Engage actively in code reviews and team meetings;
(7) Acquire and apply best practices related to MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and responsive design.
4. ELIGIBILITY:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized and reputable institution.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in web development, specifically using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and related technologies. Prior experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications is preferred.
Required Skills:
(1) Basic understanding of C# and ASP.NET MVC;
(2) Familiarity with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
(3) Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases;
(4) Exposure to Entity Framework (or willingness to learn);
(5) Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn;
(6) Good communication and teamwork abilities.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
The offer made to the selected candidate will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
6. ENGAGEMENT TYPE:
For this assignment, we are open to offering either a short-term consultancy contract or a fixed-term employment arrangement, depending on the suitability and experience of the selected candidate.
