BACKGROUND

The American India Foundation Trust (AIF) is committed to improving the lives of India’s underprivileged, with a special focus on women, children, and youth. PURPOSE

The American India Foundation Trust (AIFT) seeks to identify a qualified Consultant for providing Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships consultancy support to strengthen engagement with government stakeholders and expand strategic collaborations for scaling and sustaining AIFT programs. The Consultant will support AIFT in building and managing relationships with central and state government departments, facilitating formal partnerships (MoUs), and identifying opportunities for co-funded initiatives and convergence with government schemes.

The role will also involve driving strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including think tanks, donors, and like-minded organizations, supporting resource mobilization, and positioning AIFT as a thought leader through policy engagement, committees, and national-level platforms. Additionally, the Consultant will assist in identifying strategic opportunities, supporting program teams in stakeholder engagement, maintaining government relations databases, and ensuring effective utilization of funding avenues such as public schemes and DMF funds.

The Consultant will facilitate the services required at AIFT’s Office based at Building no. 74, Ground Floor Okhla Industrial Estate Phase-III, New Delhi-110020

Scope of Information Requested

This stage is for collecting information from interested Consultant. AIFT will review the submissions and may issue a detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) to shortlisted Consultant based on the specific assignments.
