Introduction

The Centre for Community Economics and Development Consultants Society (CECOEDECON) is one of Rajasthan's leading civil society organizations. It's early footprints in the area of disaster relief have eventually progressed into imprinting its presence in more than 15 districts across the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The organization has evolved, from a needs-based approach to rights-based approach, into a civil society organization focusing on economic justice, livelihood security, basic rights, institution development and civil society building, underpinned by integrated participatory development.

The organization has worked since 1982 towards Promoting Inclusion, making Communities Resilient, Empowering Women, Children, Smallholder Farmers, Landless Youth and Tribals with gender sensitivity as cross-cutting through its innovative interventions in areas ranging from Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Livelihoods, Climate Change, Fair Trade, Disaster Management, Seed Sovereignty, Land Rights, Health, Nutrition, Education, Women and Child Rights and Human Rights.

CECOEDECON's greatest strength has been its ability to adjust to the changes that are taking place in its external environment and within the organization. Based on these changes it has tried to evolve its Vision, Mission, Approaches, Strategies and Major Interventions at different levels.

The ANUBHUTI (Agricultural and Non-farm Utilization for Better Human Income and Training Initiatives) project aims to empower individuals and communities of 25 villages of Bhiwani district by fostering irrigation facility, improve infrastructure of school, availability of safe drinking water and support for farm and non-farm-based entrepreneurship. The project will focus on promoting sustainable livelihoods, economic growth, and inclusive education infrastructure for marginalized groups in a specific target area by creating awareness of health, water conservation, education and renewable energy for sustainable income generation in vulnerable community.

Background

CECOEDECON under its project Anubhuti implemented in Loharu block of Bhiwani district in Haryana undertakes smart school work for government schools. As part of the smart school initiative, the science lab component consisting of demonstratable models and experiments , installation, training and warranty is required to be undertaken at the implementation area.

Invitation for quotations CECOEDECON invites quotations via e-mails from eligible and qualified bidders for supply, installation, commissioning, training and warranty support for the science lab materials and models.Interested bidders are requested to submit the following: 

• Company overview and relevant work experience
• Detailed cost breakdown, including transportation. Please specify whether the quote is inclusive or exclusive of GST, and attach supporting documentation if GST is applicable (format specified below)
• Contact information for at least two references who can attest to the agency's work quality and experience 
  
  

Scope of Supply

• Supply of science lab kits and material complete with all required components, consumables, mounting, and fixtures required for demonstration and student experimentation.
• Printed step by step guides for each experimental model in English with safety instructions
• On-site installation of all models, and associated electrical/utility connections required for demonstrations.
• Functional testing and demonstration of every model with test-report sign-off.
• After-sales support SLA: maximum response time for critical faults, parts replacement timelines, remote support availability, and AMC options post-warranty.Minimum comprehensive warranty of 24 months from date of commissioning covering all defects and functional failures (excluding deliberate damage and consumables).

Period of maintenance        

The selected bidder will be responsible to undertake maintenance of the system for a period of 2 year from the date of installation and commissioning.

Bidder’s eligibility   

The company must have experience in related field and supply of goods and the company must provide the respective project completion letter from the client.

The bidder must use the following format to fill out the quantity and cost details QUOTATION WILL REQUIRED. The bill of quantity must include all the cost associated with this service.

Bidders are requested to submit their bids in consideration of the points mentioned below:

• Please provide your best rates with taxes, delivery & installation charges at mentioned locations.
• Delivery and Installation would be required at Loharu Bhiwani, Haryana.
• Any breakage/ damage during transportation will be the sole responsibility of the vendor. All material should be insured during the transit by the vendor.
• Delivery and Installation would be required within 20 days of order at mentioned facilities
• Payment will be made on submission of invoice.
• The quantities mentioned are tentative and may change at the time of placing the order.
• CECOEDECON reserves the right to award the contract to one or more bidders, accordingly the final quantities required may be divided among successful bidders. The quantities so divided will be at sole discretion of CECOEDECON.
• CECOEDECON reserves the right to cancel the bid(s) and may call for fresh bids. CECOEDECON also has the right to reject any bid without assigning any reason.
• If there is delay in delivery, the penalty clause will be imposed as per CECOEDECON policy. CECOEDECON also reserves the right to cancel the entire order in case of delay for more than 30 days from the scheduled delivery dates.
• Bids incomplete in any respect, will not be considered.
