BACKGROUND

The American India Foundation Trust (AIF) is committed to improving the lives of India’s underprivileged, with a special focus on women, children, and youth. The Foundation does this through high-impact interventions in education, health, and livelihoods because poverty is multidimensional. Founded over two decades ago, in the aftermath of the devastating Gujarat earthquake, as a humanitarian initiative by the then Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, and the U.S. President, Mr. Bill Clinton, AIF has impacted the lives of more than 19.63 million of India’s poor across 35 States and Union Territories of India. Registered as a Trust in India, with an independent Board of Trustees, AIF adheres to strict financial and governance standards, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible management of resources. PURPOSE

Senior Technical Consultant, Jharkhand

The American India Foundation Trust (AIFT) seeks to identify a qualified Consultant for providing strategic and operational leadership for AIF’s Public Health initiatives, with a strong focus on maternal, child, and adolescent health and nutrition programs. The role involves leading government engagement, program planning, implementation oversight, donor compliance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure effective execution of project goals across multiple geographies. The position will support program performance through strategic guidance, field oversight, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration while strengthening partnerships with government systems, implementation teams, and community stakeholders. The Senior Technical Consultant will also contribute to program strategy, capacity building, and continuous improvement to enhance the overall impact and sustainability of public health interventions, as part of the Panorama Global Project, AIF's Public Health Initiative.

Senior Technical Consultant, Uttarakhand

Nurse Mentoring Consultant, Haridwar

The American India Foundation Trust (AIFT) seeks to identify a qualified Consultant based in Haridwar to enhance the quality of maternal and child services delivered at the health facilities at the block level, as part of the MANSI Project, AIF's Public Health Initiative, works with the Government to strengthen the delivery of public health services in geographically hard-to-reach and socio-economically vulnerable communities. She/He will interact with the health facility staff, facilitate self-assessment exercises and action planning, identify mentoring needs, and provide onsite mentoring to delivery point staff.

Scope of Information Requested
