About
The Dadri Development Program (DDP) invites proposals from experienced skill development organizations, preferably NGOs, to implement the ‘Saksham’ program in the Dadri region. The initiative aims to support children and youth from marginalized communities through education, life skills, and employability-focused training, enabling them to access entry-level job opportunities and build pathways toward sustainable livelihoods.
Building on the successful pilot phase, the Saksham program seeks to strengthen learning outcomes through structured foundational, advanced, and job-readiness pathways. The initiative integrates modules on digital literacy, communication skills, financial awareness, leadership, entrepreneurship, and workplace readiness to promote holistic development and enhance future career preparedness among adolescents and youth.
The training program will be delivered through two cohorts:
- Cohort 1: Grade VI to X students
- Cohort 2: Grade XI to graduation-level students
The initiative targets over ~120 children from marginalized communities in Dadri over the period of 11 months and will provide hands-on training via interactive sessions, practical workshops, and volunteer-led engagement activities.
Proposals are sought from qualified organizations with proven expertise in delivering skill development programs, particularly those emphasizing holistic youth development and community upliftment. The selected organization will be responsible for comprehensive program delivery, ongoing monitoring, and transparent reporting to ensure the effective and sustainable achievement of the program's objectives.
