Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - Designer, International Not-for-Profit Organization, New Delhi.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant - Designer will be designing multiple collaterals, booklet, guidelines, LRPS etc. across various programs. She/he will be responsible the following tasks:
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Develop and adhere to a detailed workplan, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones as per the agreed schedule;
(2) Translate, draft, and adapt technical guidelines, LRPs, IEC materials, booklets, factsheets, and program collaterals with high accuracy and consistency;
(3) Ensure all content is aligned with national guidelines, program priorities (including HIV, GHS, and NCDC), and state-specific requirements;
(4) Design and format materials in print-ready formats, maintaining quality, branding, and layout standards;
(5) Coordinate with stakeholders for inputs, reviews, and approvals at each stage of deliverables;
(6) Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly to ensure high-quality final outputs;
(7) Maintain consistency across all materials, including terminology, messaging, and visual identity;
(8) Support the development and finalization of the Uttar Pradesh Cancer Roadmap, including drafting, review, and packaging;
(9) Deliver all outputs, including open/source files of creatives, within stipulated timelines;
(10) Ensure proper documentation, version control, and organization of all deliverables for easy access and future use;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience
(1) Applicant must have professional certification in graphic design;
(2) At least 05 years’ experience in designing and communication;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Past experience in Development sector;
(2) Strong translation and language proficiency (English–Hindi) with attention to technical accuracy;
(3) Knowledge of public health, especially HIV, GHS, NCDs, and cancer programs;
(4) Graphic design sense and familiarity with layout/formatting tools (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, MS Office);
(5) Strong time management and ability to handle multiple deliverables;
(6) Attention to detail and quality assurance;
(7) Familiarity with government communication guidelines and branding norms;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the assignment, for the period of 3 months, is INR 5,40,000/-.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of Three months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
