Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Consultant (SI) to support project RISE HIV SI Team in coordination with Mumbai DACS officials for the purpose of following assignments. S/he will be responsible for the following work;

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(1) To support Strategic Information (SI) activities in Mumbai DACS in close coordination and under the guidance of MDACS and SI lead of Jhpiego;
(2) To provide analytical support to Prevention component of Mumbai DACS;

(3) To support in data preparation for the District Epidemiological Profile (DEP) as per

requirement of Mumbai_DACS and Jhpiego;

(4) To perform the data cleaning activity as per requirement of Jhpiego;

(5) To provide the technical support wherever requirements of Jhpiego & Mumbai DACS;

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must have a Graduate any Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science,  Master’s degree desired;
(2) More than 10 years of relevant experience in HIV/AIDS programme. At least 7 years of Experience in the field of NACP Strategic Information component;

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a multicultural team;

(2) Ability to produce documents and coordinate activities independently;
(3) Excellent organizational skills required;

(4) Proficiency in Hindi and English languages;

(5) Demonstrated skills on communications and knowledge management;

(6) Proficiency in computer skills particularly MS Office;

(7) Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks and travel;

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 2,15,100/-) (consultancy + M&IE + Stay + travel).

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of Two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
