1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The two Public Health Consultants based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to support Manyata 5.0. The Consultants will be based out of National Program Management Unit (NPMU) and work closely with them to drive demand generation, coordinate Quality Circles, and strengthen program implementation. and she/he will be responsible the following tasks:
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Demand Generation & Facility Engagement;
(a) Support outreach and engagement of private maternity facilities;
(b) Coordinate with FOGSI/state chapters to promote Manyata certification;
(c) Track facility onboarding pipeline (lead → registration → certification);
(d) Support organization of webinars, meetings, and regional engagement events;
(e) Maintain structured tracking systems and periodic progress reports;
(2) Quality Circle Coordination;
(a) Plan and coordinate Quality Circle meetings across assigned geographies;
(b) Support preparation of meeting materials and documentation of proceedings;
(c) Track implementation of action points emerging from Quality Circles;
(d) Capture and compile best practices and key learnings;
(3) Program Tracking & Coordination:
(a) Support monthly and quarterly performance tracking;
(b) Coordinate with state teams and internal technical units;
(c) Support in coordination for the external assessments with facilities and assessors;
(d) Support in closure of non-compliances suggested during external assessments;
(e) Follow-up with the facilities whenever required;
(4) Documentation and Reporting:
(a) Digitalization of the data on the CRM platform;
(b) Contribute to documentation and reporting requirements;
(c) Assist in preparation of review presentations and summary reports;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience
(1) Applicant must have any graduates or nursing and alternative medicine background with MPH /MHA /MBA in healthcare will be preferred;
(2) At least 3–6 years of relevant experience in public health programs, health systems, quality improvement and assurance such as NQAS, NABH, LaQshya, or private sector engagement;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Experience working with healthcare facilities or professional bodies especially FOGSI preferred;
(2) Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills;
(3) Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools;
(4) Structured and execution-focused;
(5) Strong communication and documentation skills;
(6) Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines;
(7) Willingness to travel within Maharashtra as required;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the assignment, for the period of 5 months 15 days, is INR 3,50,000/- (consultancy +M&IE +Stay + travel) (Two Consultant total cost - INR 700,000/-).

9. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of 5 months 15 days. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
