Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization, New Delhi.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The consultant will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Additional Report Development;
Design and implement new HR reports within the existing portal;
(a) Key Features;
(i) Custom report generation.
(ii) Role-based access.
(iii) Filter options (date, department, employee category).
(iv) Export to Excel / PDF / CSV.
(v) On-screen preview with pagination.
(b) Deliverables;
(i) Integrated report module.
(ii) Approved report templates.
(iii) Export functionality.
(iv) User documentation.
(2) Historical Data Upload Feature;
Develop a secure bulk upload module for backdated employee data;
(a) Key Features;
(i) Excel/CSV upload templates
(ii) Data validation before submission
(iii) Error log download
(iv) Duplicate detection
(v) Upload audit trail
(vi) Admin-only access
(b) Deliverables;
(i) Upload module
(ii) Standard templates
(iii) Error reporting dashboard
(iv) Admin user guide
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have a Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) desired;
(2) At least 02 years of relevant experience;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong experience with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript;
(2) Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js;
(3) Solid understanding of backend development using Node.js, Java, Python, or similar;
(4) Experience with RESTful APIs and API integration;
(5) Proficiency in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar);
(6) Understanding of version control systems, especially Git;
(7) Familiarity with MVC architecture and software development best practices;
(8) Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices;
(9) Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;
(10) Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus;
(11) Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code;
(12) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 100,000/-.
6. LOCATION: New Delhi
7. REFERENCE: C-D-ND-INPO
8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
