Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization (INPO), Remote.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant will work closely with the iWIN program team, technical experts, and stakeholders to document the conceptualization, development, and implementation of the program’s digital health components. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Program Understanding and Landscape Review: Review key program documents and digital system designs to understand the iWIN strategy, architecture, and implementation model. Engage with program leadership, technical experts, and implementation teams to gather insights on the evolution of the project’s digital health components;
(2) Documentation of the Digital Health Journey: Document the conceptualization, design, and rollout of the digital health interventions under iWIN, including system integration, IoT-enabled data collection, digital dashboards, and the development of AI/ML-based risk prediction tools;
(3) Capture Implementation Processes and Lessons Learned: Analyze and document implementation processes, including capacity building for digital adoption, integration of digital tools into routine health services, data quality improvement efforts, and partnerships supporting the digital ecosystem;
(4) Development of the White Paper: Develop a comprehensive white paper that presents
the iWIN digital health strategy, implementation framework, system architecture,
outcomes, and lessons learned, positioning the model as a replicable approach for public
health programs;
(5) Stakeholder Review and Finalization: Facilitate review of draft outputs with key stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and finalize the white paper and associated documentation for publication and dissemination;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have an advanced degree in public health, digital health, health informatics, global health, health systems, or related field;
(2) Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in digital health, health systems strengthening, or global health programs;
(3) Demonstrated experience documenting large-scale public health or digital transformation
programs;
(4) Proven experience developing high-quality reports, strategy documents, or white papers
for international development organizations;
(5) Strong understanding of digital health ecosystems, health information systems, and data-driven decision-making
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Experience working in maternal and newborn health programs is highly desirable;
(2) Knowledge of design thinking and human-centered design approaches in digital health;
(3) Experience with digital health architecture, interoperability, and health data systems;
(4) Familiarity with AI/ML applications in public health or health analytics;
(5) Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives;
(6) Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 2,40,000/-, travel & others (as per actual) - INR 1,09,400/-.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of three months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
