2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Consultant will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and handholding support of the HRP follow-up application. S/he will be responsible for the following work;

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(1) Mobile Application Development:

(a)  Develop Android application for ANMs/CHOs with HRP beneficiary listing, follow-up forms, BP/Hb/weight monitoring, BPCR, danger signs, referral tracking, offline functionality, and sync option;

(2) Backend, API, and Admin Module Development:

(a) Develop backend services, database, APIs, user management, master data management, role - based access, sync services, and alert logic;

(3) Dashboard and Single Consolidated Report;

(a) Develop web - based dashboard and single consolidated report with state/district/block/ facility/provider filters and export option;

(4) Deployment and Initial Hosting;

(a) Deploy application on hired server for initial Six months, configure server, database, SSL, backups, and production environment.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must have Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E./ B.Tech/ BCA/ MCA/ B.Sc./ M.Sc.);
(2) Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a related domain;

(3) Proven experience in a similar role, with demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities Effectively;

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Android Application Development: Expertise in developing mobile applications with offline functionality, data synchronization, and user-friendly interfaces;

(2) Backend & Database Management: Strong experience in API development, database design, user authentication, role-based access control, and data management;

(3) Dashboard & Reporting Solutions: Ability to develop web-based dashboards, MIS reports, data visualization tools, and monitoring systems;

(4) Server Deployment & System Administration: Experience in application hosting, server configuration, security implementation, backup management, and cloud/on-premise deployments;

(5) Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Proficiency in requirements analysis, system design, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical documentation;

(6) Stakeholder Management & Problem Solving: Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills with experience supporting government, public health, or large-scale digital transformation projects;

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The consultancy fee for two months INR 350,000/- deliverables based.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
