Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - M&E, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant will report to Advisor MER and coordinate closely with the program team for data access, tools, and feedback. This Position will be based at Lucknow office, support data collection activities in UP, and the assignment is expected to be completed within 3 months from the date of contract signing. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Community Assessment;
(a) Conduct structured interviews with at least 20+ community members per SHC AAM (total 20 SHC AAMs) from the target population;
(b) Use the agreed questionnaire/tool (aligned with baseline assessment);
(c) Ensure: Ethical data collection practices, Informed consent from participants and Data accuracy and completeness;
(d) Undertake data entry and cleaning;
(2) Data Analysis and Comparison;
(a) Analyze Facility Assessment Data, Provider Skill Assessment Data, community Assessment Data, Service Statistics and other available data by using appropriate statistical methods;
(b) Compare endline findings with baseline data to assess: Changes in knowledge levels Improvements in awareness and practices;
(c) Interpret findings with clear, evidence-based insights;
(3) Reporting;
(a) Prepare a comprehensive final report that includes Methodology, Endline findings, Comparative analysis with baseline, Facility assessment findings, Key insights and trends, Recommendations for program improvement;
(b) Present findings in clear formats (tables, charts, and visuals where appropriate);
(c) Submit draft and final reports incorporating feedback;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have Graduate in any discipline (preferably Science, Social Science, or Public Health related field);
(2) Experience in public health research, especially NCDs (hypertension, diabetes);
(3) Proven experience in baseline/endline surveys and evaluations;
(4) Experience in facility assessments and health system evaluations;
(5) Familiarity with the local context (preferred);
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Skills in data analysis and report writing;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The consultancy fee budget for this role is INR ₹2,85,400.
6. LOCATION: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
7. REFERENCE: C-L-C-INPO
8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
