1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - MNCH, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant - MNCH will provide technical and programmatic support for strengthening priority Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) interventions across Rajasthan, with a focus on quality of care, capacity building, and evidence-based programme improvement, contributing to the State's progress toward SDG targets. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Work in close coordination with Senior Program Officer to provide necessary support to state department for routine/intensive monitoring of program specific activities related to MNCH strengthening;
(2) Working on roll out of Suman roadmap 2030 activities in State in alignment with state department;
(3) Gap analysis report highlighting priority areas for technical support to state department;
(4) Compiling all the SOPs, circulars and guidelines related to MNCH strengthening for inclusion in Suman Roadmap comprehensive booklet;
(5) Support in compiling reports related to Maternal Death reviews;
(6) Support to development/review of SOPs, protocols or job aids;
(7) Contribution to quality-of-care dashboards/review tools for tracking indicators;
(8) Compiled documentation of best practices, innovations and lessons learned;
(9) Final analytical report summarising achievements, key gaps and actionable recommendations;
(10) Support in drafting PPTs/briefs for internal or state-level review;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have masters in Public Health or equivalent;
(2) Minimum 0-2 Years experience in public health or similar area of work;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Maintain regular coordination with team to support smooth execution, monitoring and follow-up of MNCH interventions;
(2) Contribute to periodic programme reports, review presentations and technical updates as Required;
(3) Ensure all deliverables are submission-ready, evidence-based and aligned with state Priorities;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of three months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
