Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Consultant will document the CPHC strengthening model and Nursing reforms in Bihar and UP and Bihar respectively, and to develop high-quality knowledge products that support implementation, scale-up, and policy engagement. S/he will be responsible for the following work;

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(1) Document the CPHC service delivery and system strengthening model;

(2) Document the nursing education reform framework and implementation approach;

(3) Capture innovations in service delivery, governance, and workforce strengthening systems;

(4) Develop two separate Implementation Playbooks (CPHC and Nursing Reforms);    

(5) Develop policy and advocacy materials for government and development partners;

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must have Master’s degree in public health, Health Management, psychology, Nursing, or Development Studies;

(2) Minimum 8–12 years of experience in public health, CPHC, or health systems strengthening;
(3) Experience working with government programs (NHM / State Health Society);

(4) Strong academic grounding in public health systems and policy;

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Strong technical understanding of CPHC, health systems, and nursing education reforms;
(2) Excellent documentation and writing skills to develop playbooks, frameworks, and policy materials;
(3) Strong analytical ability to synthesize data, insights, and identify scalable models;
(4) Effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management skills;

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 9,00,000/-.

6. LOCATION: Patna, Bihar

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of three months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
