Job Title: Content Developer (Practice Workbook)
Reports to: Program Manager – Content Development
Location: Remote / Work from Home

Duration: Project-based (April 2026 to June 2026)

Role Overview
With the shift under NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 toward competency-based learning, NSF is developing practice workbooks to help students build conceptual understanding and apply learning effectively.
The Content Developer will create grade-wise workbooks for Grades 3–9 in English, Mathematics, and Science, aligned to SCERT Telangana and NCERT textbooks and learning outcomes..
Key Responsibilities
Workbook Design & Content Structuring
•
Create grade-specific workbooks aligned with SCERT-Telangana and NCERT textbooks and learning outcomes.
•
Structure content into clear sections: concept explanation, examples, practice questions, and answer keys.
•
Ensure each work is visually organized, age-appropriate, and pedagogically sound.
•
Follow NSF’s design and formatting standards for all submissions.
Question & Activity Integration
•
Include a mix of MCQs, short answers, fill-in-the-blanks, and application-based tasks.
•
Map each question to Bloom’s Taxonomy and relevant competencies.
•
Ensure clarity, neutrality, and contextual relevance in all items.
Review & Quality Assurance
•
Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback from academic leads.
•
Ensure consistency in formatting, language, and instructional tone.
•
Maintain version control and documentation for each workbook.
Coordination & Delivery
•
Collaborate with the QC and translation teams to finalize content.
•
Submit monthly progress reports and meet content delivery milestones.
•
Upload finalized workbooks to the designated repository with proper tagging.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
•
B.Ed. degree or equivalent qualification in Education.
•
Prior teaching experience in schools is highly desirable.
•
Strong understanding of SCERT-Telangana/NCERT curriculum and classroom realities.
•
Experience in content writing, instructional design, or remediation material development.
•
Familiarity with competency-based education and NEP 2020 principles.
Compensation
•
Monthly remuneration: ₹8,000–₹15,000, based on the volume, quality, and timeliness of content developed.
•
Upon successful completion of the assigned work, contributors will receive a certificate titled “Creation of Competency-Based Practice Workbook” in recognition of their efforts and contribution.
Note: This is a project-based role with flexible hours and performance-linked progression.
