Job Title: Head-Individual Partnerships (Charity Fundraising)
Department: FDC- Individual Partnership
Reports to: Chief Fund Development Officer
Location: Vasant Kunj, New Delhi

SOS Children’s Villages of India are an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization working for the holistic development of parentless children as well as women and children from vulnerable families. For over 60 years, we have reached over 65000 children through our 32 SOS Children’s Villages and 28 community projects in India positively impacting over 83000 lives.
We continue to provide children without parental care or at the risk of losing it, a value chain of quality care services that goes beyond childcare alone, to ensure comprehensive child development as well as ways to strengthen communities and families as a preventive measure in the fight against abandonment and social neglect.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising and Channel Management
• Responsible for generating annual revenue through individual, sponsorship, major donor and online verticals. Operations through in-house teams (on roll & third party) and franchisees / channel partners. - Define and drive gross income targets across all individual partnership channels including Agency, Regional Teams, Digital, Partnerships, Tele-team, and Trail Incomes.
• Ensure cost management across the vertical, maintaining overall expenditure within the defined threshold.
• Retain and nurture a specified percentage of existing donors to ensure consistent support, identify opportunities for donor upgradation and relationship enhancement through targeted retention activities.
• Lead acquisition of new individual donors by onboarding new donors through face-to-face meetings and referrals and donor activation events such as school programs, trust collaborations, and community activities.
• Monitor achievement of Fundraising targets and obtain information on best practices/success stories from team members to build capabilities and increase fund generation.
• Expand and diversify income sources, focusing on unrestricted funding growth and donor retention.
• Responsible to lead donor servicing through building strong, personal connections with donors to increase loyalty and long-term giving, regular donor meetings.
• Address donor queries, reminders, and mail communications within committed turnaround timeframes (TAT).
• Facilitate donor visits to SOS facilities as part of relationship-building strategies
• Responsible for proposal writing/processing of donor reports/ volunteering engagements with corporate employees
• Periodically monitor team performance against set KPIs and budgets, providing feedback and corrective support as needed.
• Support team members with administrative guidance and identify training needs of team members.
Systems, SOPs and Operational Efficiency
• Establish and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all Individual Fundraising processes to ensure smooth and efficient functioning across teams and partner agencies.
• Strengthen operational systems to ensure seamless coordination with Finance, Donor Management, and Compliance teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
a) Master’s degree in Sales & Marketing, business development or related field
b) Leadership experience preferably within the NGO or public sector; minimum 10 years practical (in a leadership position)
c) Relevant experience in individual fundraising and donor servicing. Overall experience 15 years plus.
