This is part of a project with the target of putting up 48 such systems.

The broad specifications of each component would be as below:

  1. Solar PV modules: Mono PERC, TOPCon or equivalent/higher efficiency technology, with individual module capacity ≥590 Wp, IEC certified. The PV array capacity shall be suitably sized for the proposed 3 HP pumping system and site conditions.
  2. Pump: 3 HP surface or submersible pump, as appropriate to the water source, suitable for canal/pond/dugwell/borewell applications. The pump shall be suitable for solar operation and shall incorporate dry-run, overload, over/under-voltage and surge protection.
  3. DCDB or equivalent integrated PV-side protection: IP65, appropriately rated DC isolator, string fuses where required based on the PV configuration, Type-II DC Surge Protection Device (SPD), and all necessary terminals/connectors. DCDB shall be suitably rated for the maximum PV array voltage and current.
  4. ACDB if applicable: Appropriately rated ACDB with MCB/MCCB, isolator, surge protection and other necessary protection between the controller/VFD and pump system.
  5. Cu cables of reputed make, DC cables to be UV resistant, conduits and accessories for installation
