1. POSITIONS VACANT: Centre of Excellence Coordinator, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Patna, Bihar.

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Centre of Excellence Coordinator will work closely with hospital administration, nursing institutions, faculty members, and relevant stakeholders to establish a coordinated system that aligns academic requirements with service delivery priorities and patient care needs. The position will also support the development of a standardized Community Exposure and Field Visit Plan that can be adopted by nursing institutions posting students at GGSS Hospital and potentially replicated across other teaching hospitals in Bihar. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Planning;
(a) Assess existing clinical posting, student deployment, and community exposure practices at GGSS Hospital;
(b) Map academic requirements of nursing programs against hospital and community training capacities;
(c)Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for strengthening nursing education and training systems.;
2. Development of Model Clinical and Community Learning Systems;
(a) Develop a structured and replicable Clinical Rotation Framework aligned with curriculum requirements and hospital capacity;
(b) Design a Community Exposure and Field Visit Framework with defined learning objectives, schedules, and assessment mechanisms;
(c) Develop SOPs, student allocation norms, supervision mechanisms, and implementation guidelines for effective training;
3. Project Legacy and Communication Packages;
(a) Prepare one comprehensive Project Legacy Package for each major programme, including a project closure report, impact summary, sustainability plan, lessons learned, executive presentation, and communication materials;
(b) Complete and submit all legacy packages before project closure;
4.Stakeholder Coordination;
(a) Facilitate coordination between GGSS Hospital, nursing intuitions, and other stakeholders;
(b) Conduct consultations to ensure alignment on student deployment, supervision, and learning outcomes;
(c) Support establishment of intuitional mechanisms for ongoing coordination and oversight;
5. Implementation and Capacity Building;
(a) Orient faculty, hospital staff, and relevant stakeholders on the new systems;
(b) Provide technical support and recommend corrective actions based on implementation Experience;
6. Support to Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery (NPM) Program;
(a) Support implementation and strengthening of NPM-led birthing services.
(b) Facilitate coordination among multidisciplinary teams and strengthen documentation, reporting, and quality improvement processes.
(c) Document best practices and lessons learned;
7. Monitoring, Documentation, and Knowledge Management;
(a) Develop and implement monitoring mechanisms to track effectiveness of training systems.
(b) Document processes, outcomes, innovations, and lessons learned.
(c) Prepare progress reports and develop a replication toolkit, including frameworks, SOPs, monitoring tools, and implementation recommendations;
8. Other Responsibilities;
(a) Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor in support of nursing education and health system strengthening initiatives;
(b) Undertake additional assignments related to nursing education, clinical training systems, and service strengthening as assigned by the supervisor;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience
(1) Graduate degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Social Sciences, Life Sciences, or any related discipline from a recognized institution;
(2) Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare, public health, medical/nursing education, health systems strengthening, hospital management, training, or program implementation;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Experience in developing operational frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training plans, or implementation models;
(2) Experience facilitating stakeholder consultations and multi-institutional coordination;
5. Compensation Offered: The Gross remuneration budgeted for the role is INR 3,60,000/- for six months.

8. NATURE OF Engagement:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Fixed Term Employee (FTE) on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time engagement initially offered for a period of six months. The FTE is extendable based on performance and project requirements.
