Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant will work under the overall guidance of SPO-NCD and will closely coordinate with state and district officials. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Documentation of Project Learnings:
(a) Develop and maintain a structured framework for documentation of SPANDAN project experiences to include, Best practices, Innovations, Implementation models, Challenges and solutions, Success stories and case studies;
(b) Conduct field visits to districts/blocks/health facilities as required to capture ground-level learnings;
(c) Develop knowledge products such as, Case studies, Thematic briefs, Learning notes, Process documentation reports;
(d) Support preparation of knowledge dissemination materials;
(2) Data Management and Analysis:
(a) Coordinate with the State NP-NCD Unit to access and review available program data (eKavach, DVDMS, etc.);
(b) Generate granular data till the level of health facilities on monthly basis through existing portals in the state;
(c) Ensure data quality checks, validation, and consistency;
(d) Generate monthly analytical dashboards, summaries, and trend analysis;
(e) Support preparation of periodic progress and outcome reports;
(3) Coordination and Capacity Support;
(a) Work closely with state, divisional and district officials;
(b) Support state officials during reviews, workshops, and meetings by providing analytical inputs and documentation;
(c) Assist in institutionalizing learning documentation and data-use practices;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have Postgraduate degree in Public Health or Data Analytics (with public health experience);
(2) Minimum 5–7 years of experience in documentation, knowledge product development for public health programs preferably NCDs;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Demonstrated experience in Health data analysis, Program documentation and Report writing and knowledge product development;
(2) Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills;
(3) Prior experience of working with government systems will be an advantage;
(4) Strong understanding of NCD programs and health systems;
(5) Data analysis and interpretation skills;
(6) Excellent documentation and drafting skills;
(7) Ability to work independently and with government teams;
(8) Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with dashboards and MIS tools desirable;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The consultancy fee for One month INR 80,000/- deliverables based) The Consultant CTC for two months INR 2,20,000/- (consultancy +M&IE +Stay + travel).

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
