Partnership & Outreach Manager
National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) is looking for a Partnership & Outreach Manager to strengthen institutional partnerships, expand outreach, and build strategic collaborations that support the rights, livelihoods, and social protection of street vendors across India.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and manage strategic partnerships with government institutions, NGOs, civil society organisations, foundations, corporates, development organisations, and other relevant stakeholders.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with central, state, and local government stakeholders and represent NASVI in relevant meetings, consultations, forums, and policy discussions.
● Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships, programme collaborations, and resource mobilisation.
● Develop concept notes, partnership proposals, presentations, and other materials for institutional engagement and collaboration.
● Maintain regular communication with existing partners and ensure effective coordination across partnership activities.
● Identify potential funding, programme, and collaboration opportunities aligned with NASVI’s priorities.
● Support NASVI’s institutional visibility, networking, and engagement at national and state levels.
● Coordinate with NASVI’s programme, communications, and leadership teams to translate partnerships into meaningful programmes and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
● 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, outreach, resource mobilisation, fundraising, programme development, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
● Demonstrated experience in engaging with government stakeholders, including central, state, or local government institutions.
● Experience working with NGOs, civil society organisations, development sector institutions, foundations, or corporate partners.
● Strong networking, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
● Strong ability to develop proposals, concept notes, presentations, and partnership documents.
● Ability to identify opportunities, initiate conversations, and develop partnerships independently.
● Good understanding of the development and social sector landscape in India.
● Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
● Willingness to travel as required for meetings, consultations, and field engagements.
