1. POSITIONS VACANT: Senior Consultant - CPHC Not-for-Profit Organization, Patna, Bihar.

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Consultant - CPHC will strengthening service delivery systems, improving community engagement mechanisms, enhancing planning and review processes, and promoting data-driven decision-making to improve health outcomes among urban vulnerable populations. S/he will be responsible for following work.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Develop and implement state road maps and work plans for strengthening Urban Primary Health Care;
(2) Ensure effective coordination with government, ULBs, and community stakeholders;
(3) Provide technical support, including development of guidelines, job aids, and documentation;
(4) Monitor program performance through data analysis, field visits, and regular reporting;
(5) Support capacity building of health staff and program managers;
(6) Ensure alignment with GoI programs (CPHC, NHM, NP-NCD, Ayushman Bharat);
(7) Facilitate review meetings and support data-driven decision-making;
(8) Maintain quality of implementation through supportive supervision and feedback;
(9) Ensure timely delivery of project outputs and compliance with requirements;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicant must have a MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/B. Tech is preferred with an essential master’s in public health (MPH), diploma in public health (DPH) or post-graduation in health management;
(2) At least 8 to 12 years of experience of working with government programs and systems for large scale public health programs, especially health systems strengthening interventions;
(3) Technical knowledge and experience in health programs in the high focus states of India;
(4) Knowledge of latest GoI NP-NCD and CPHC program guidelines, program management structures, Program Implementation plan (PIP) process;
(5) Familiarity with the Indian health system, key stakeholders, and relevant government policies / strategies— particularly Ayushman Bharat and National Health Mission;
(6) Demonstrable experience and competency in managing diverse objectives with government and multiple stakeholders;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English, Hindi, and local language;
(2) Proven ability to liaise effectively with government officials and stakeholders;
(3) Proficiency in technical writing, documentation, and report preparation;
(4) Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines;
(5) Good interpersonal skills with attention to detail and professionalism;
(6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data handling;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 120,000/-.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of one month. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
