SOS Children’s Villages of India are an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization working for the holistic development of parentless children as well as women and children from vulnerable families. For over 60 years, we have reached over 65000 children through our 32 SOS Children’s Villages and 28 community projects in India positively impacting over 83000 lives. We continue to provide children without parental care or at the risk of losing it, a value chain of quality care services that goes beyond childcare alone, to ensure comprehensive child development as well as ways to strengthen communities and families as a preventive measure in the fight against abandonment and social neglect.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to independently anchor submission of reports to our donors. The resource is expected to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables to contribute towards enhanced service delivery. The resource will contribute and support in development of new knowledge products to showcase organization’s interventions, best practices and case studies.
Area of Responsibilities
1. Documentation: Support in preparation of programmatic progress reports to the donors of the organization
2. Communication and Coordination: Regular interaction and communication within the team and other verticals (programs, finance, donor services etc.) for data collection and collation of information.
3. Knowledge Management
· Prepare donor’s reports and ensure timeliness of reports
· Analyze data on key thematic indicators to substantiate progress reports
· Prepare and maintain different MIS as and when required as per the emerging needs of the team
· Share thematic knowledge resources, reports, documents etc. with the team
· Support in building and maintaining repository of key documents from time to time
· Undertake any other tasks and assignments as per the evolved needs of the vertical as and when required
Child & Youth Safeguarding Commitment:
The incumbent must commit to the organization's Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy and ensure its implementation in all aspects and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Candidate should be a graduate in the field of Social Work/Sociology/Arts. Preference will be given to candidates with post-graduation qualifications (MSW, MA in Sociology, Rural Development etc.) and should have a basic understanding of the development sector and concepts.
· Experience in documentation, specifically reporting, writing concept notes, case studies etc.
· Analytical bent of mind
· Good team player
· Ability to generate goodwill with working partners; and
· Ability to manage parallel tasks and deliver on time to meet internal and external deadlines.
Years of Experience: 2-4 years
Skills and Competencies:
· IT and MS office (word, excel, PPT etc.)
· Analytical and Documentation skills
· Team player/inter-personal communication skills
· Fluent in verbal and written English communication
