3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Lead – Digital Marketing, Communications & Brand will be responsible for driving BRB’s digital marketing and brand strategy with a strong focus on fundraising through innovative digital campaigns, strategic communications and performance marketing.
Reporting to the Director – Resource Mobilisation & External Engagement, the role will also oversee social media, organic growth, and brand engagement, while leading a multidisciplinary team of high-performing digital marketing, social media communicators and content creators from the Digital Fundraising & Comms Team. This position blends design thinking, data intelligence, and operational excellence, with responsibility for developing the Digital FR & Comms budget, to deliver fundraising targets and campaigns that resonate deeply and scale widely across platforms, cultures, and constituencies.
The ideal candidate is a visionary brand thinker and growth catalyst, with a proven track record of building magnetic brands, accelerating donor acquisition, and orchestrating integrated campaigns, building enduring connections with donors, CSR partners, academia, supporters, and the broader community.
This role demands strategic agility, creative thinking, and a deep commitment to advancing BRB’s mission to ensure every child survives, learns, and is protected.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(A) Digital Fundraising & Marketing:
(1) Develop and execute a multi-channel digital strategy to grow online fundraising and supporter engagement in line with BRB’s annual revenue and visibility goals.
(2) Develop and implement digital fundraising campaigns to acquire, engage, and retain donors.
(3) Use data-driven insights to optimize donor acquisition costs, conversion, and retention.
(4) Manage performance marketing, SEO/ SEM, paid ads, email marketing, and analytics.
(5) Drive exponential organic growth via SEO, SEM, and high-impact content marketing leveraging blogs, videos, social storytelling, and long-tail educational formats to build trust and engagement.
(6) Lead the planning and execution of performance-driven campaigns (paid social, search, and display), using data and A/B testing for optimization.
(7) Online revenue growth and donor acquisition.
(8) CPA, CTR, conversion rates, ROAS.
(9) Engagement rates and reach across web and social platforms.
(B) Social Media & Content Management:
(1) Lead BRB’s social media strategy across platforms to maximize reach, engagement, and visibility.
(2) Ensure consistent, creative, and impactful content aligned with BRB’s mission and campaigns.
(3) Grow and engage digital communities organically.
(C) Brand & Communications:
(1) Develop and strengthen BRB’s brand identity and voice across digital and offline channels.
(2) Manage PR, media engagement, storytelling, donor communication, and advocacy content.
(3) Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied in all communication materials.
(D) Team Leadership:
(1) Lead and mentor the communications, digital, and brand team.
(2) Coordinate with fundraising, program, and advocacy teams to ensure aligned messaging.
(3) Manage external agencies, consultants, and vendors as needed.
(E) Strategy, Innovation & Analytics:
(1) Design and implement integrated communications and brand strategies to support BRB’s fundraising and program goals.
(2) Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and brand engagement metrics.
(3) Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
(F) Influencer & Creator-Led Marketing:
(1) Architect scalable influencer strategies across YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms. Build authentic creator partnerships that deliver reach, resonance, and results.
(G) Leadership & Talent Development:
(1) Build, inspire, and retain a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team. Instil a culture of innovation, agility, and outcome orientation.
(H) Data, Tools & Experimentation:
(1) Own the marketing tech stack and analytics ecosystem. Drive data-informed decisions, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and close collaboration with various stakeholders to refine user journeys and attribution.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURS:
Qualification
(1) Post-Graduation in Digital Marketing/Communication or similar qualification from a recognized institute.
(2) Relevant courses and/ or certification in digital marketing, Google AdWords or equivalent from a reputed institute and/or a combination of relevant professional experiences in line with the responsibilities listed in this job description will be plus.
Experience
(1) 8 to 12 years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, or communications (preferably in the nonprofit/ fundraising sector).
(2) Strong expertise in digital fundraising, performance marketing, and social media management.
(3) Experience in managing teams, agencies, and multi-stakeholder communications.
(4) Experience in managing cross functional teams.
Skills
(1) Excellent skills in storytelling, content creation, and brand positioning.
(2) Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in analytics and marketing automation tools.
(3) Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
(4) Proven track record of bringing campaigns to life across multiple channels.

(1) Integrated Marketing Strategy: Ability to design and implement multi-channel campaigns across digital, PR, brand, and content to drive visibility and engagement.
(2) Working Knowledge of Digital Tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, SEMrush, Mailchimp, Canva Pro, Hootsuite, HubSpot, Google Tag Manager.
(3) Performance Marketing Expertise: Skilled in SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and influencer campaigns with strong command over metrics like CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
(4) Content Strategy & Storytelling: Proven experience in leading content development, regional storytelling, and narrative design to build emotional resonance and brand affinity.
(5) Brand Management & Visual Systems: Capable of developing and maintaining brand voice, tone, and design systems ensuring consistency across platforms and touchpoints.
(6) Community Building & Influencer Marketing: Ability to grow and engage digital communities and manage scalable influencer collaborations on platforms like Instagram, YouTube.
(7) Creative Campaign Development: Strength in conceptualizing and executing creative, insight-led campaigns that blend storytelling, design, and performance.
(8) Marketing Analytics & Technology Tools: Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Data Studio, and CRM platforms for data-led decision-making and optimization.
(9) Budget Management & ROI Accountability: Strong financial acumen in allocating, tracking, and optimizing marketing spends across channels.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
