Consultant - Finance

1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - Finance, International Not-for-Profit Organization, New Delhi.

2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

S/he will be responsible the following tasks:

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(1) Review accounting vouchers for GST applicability, tax rates, ITC eligibility, RCM, and identify discrepancies;

(2) Prepare monthly GST workings, including reconciliation of purchase register, sales register, books of accounts, and GST ledgers;
(3) Prepare and file GSTR-1 after validating outward supplies, invoices, credit/debit notes, and HSN summary;
(4) Prepare and file GSTR-3B by computing GST liability, eligible ITC, and net tax payable;
(5) Generate GST PMT challan based on the final GST liability and share payment details;
(6) Coordinate with the finance team to resolve GST-related queries and ensure timely statutory compliance;

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience
(1) Applicant must have B. Com.;
(2) Minimum of One year experience in finance and GST working;

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Timely, accurate, and compliant monthly GST filing with complete reconciliation, challan generation, and supporting documentation;

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: One month consultancy fee INR 20,000/- Deliverable based).

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of one month. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
