1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Remote.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant will translate the approved project model, technical guidance, digital workflow and implementation requirements into a complete, technically validated and field-ready LRP. The package will be suitable for facilitated training, self-paced LMS learning and day-to-day use by providers and programme teams. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Facilitator manual;
(a) Session plans for all eight units, with objectives, duration, methodology, facilitator instructions, discussion prompts, exercises, key messages, materials required and session closure points;
(2) Role-based training presentations;
(a) Visual presentation decks for the eight units and the principal learner groups, using workflows, algorithms, examples, case scenarios and key messages rather than text-heavy slides;
(3) Field job-aid and algorithm package;
(a) Integrated TB–Tobacco screening and referral algorithms, Standardized workflow (screening - referral - diagnosis - treatment - reporting), Monitoring and reporting formats; TB risk recognition; tobacco screening; oral-health risk recognition; referral decision tree; diagnostic pathway; follow-up algorithm; escalation pathway. “What I need to do” sheets for touchpoint staff, coordinators, data staff, supervisors/ program managers and relevant facility focal persons;
(4) Digital application and field-reference toolkit;
(a) Step-by-step TB-Tobacco guides for consent, registration, screening, referral/voucher generation, follow-up, outcome updates, dashboards and common errors; quick reference
cards; infographics; recognition criteria/tools; beneficiary materials;
(5) Assessment package;
(a) Pre-test, post-test, answer key, case-based questions, practical skill assessment;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have bachelors in MBBS and master’s degree in Community Medicine or Public Health;
(2) Minimum 2-3 years of experience in public health training, curriculum development, instructional design, and capacity building;
(3) Experience working with NTEP, Tobacco Control, NCD, Oral Health, or similar public health programs;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Expertise in developing Learning Resource Packages (LRPs), facilitator manuals, training presentations, job aids, and assessment tools;
(2) Experience in designing LMS-ready/e-learning content and translating technical guidance, workflows, and algorithms into user-friendly training materials;
(3) Strong technical writing, stakeholder consultation, and content validation skills;
(4) Experience supporting digital health applications, referral pathways, screening algorithms, and government-led public health initiatives;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of Two months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
