1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - Design , International Not-for-Profit Organization, New Delhi/ Remote.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant - Design will provide comprehensive graphic design support for communication, branding, and knowledge products, ensuring the development of high-quality, visually engaging materials that align with organizational standards and project objectives. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Development of infographics, data visualizations, process flows, concept illustrations, timelines, dashboards, and technical graphics for reports and knowledge products;
(2) Branding support for national and state-level campaigns, conferences, stakeholder consultations, exhibitions, and advocacy events;
(3) Design of audio-visual communication materials, including storyboards, title cards, lower thirds, video thumbnails, presentation graphics, and motion graphic assets;
(4) Design and layout of technical guidelines, training manuals, facilitator guides, participant handbooks, SOPs, toolkits, reports, policy briefs, and other publications for TB, GHS, and health systems strengthening programmes;
(5) Design and branding for TB, Global Health Security (GHS), One Health, and other public health workshops, trainings, consultations, and review meetings, including invitations, stage backdrops, standees, banners, certificates, agendas, name badges, and event signage. (more than 20);
(6) Development of PowerPoint templates, presentation decks, and branded communication templates for technical meetings and stakeholder engagements;
(7) Creation of branding assets, including icons, illustrations, cover designs, and visual identity elements;
(8) Design of IEC/BCC materials such as posters, brochures, leaflets, fact sheets, job aids, social media creatives, and awareness campaign materials for TB, One Health, GHS, AMR, zoonotic diseases, and other public health initiatives;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field;
(2) Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably with development organizations, public health, government, or non-profit sectors;
(3) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint. Knowledge of Figma, Canva, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other design and video editing tools is an added advantage;
(4) Demonstrated experience in designing publications, reports, toolkits, branding materials, event collateral, social media creatives, infographics, and other communication products for print and digital platforms;
(5) Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, layout design, and visual storytelling;
(6) Experience in preparing print-ready files and coordinating with vendors for production is desirable;
(7) Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing communication materials;
(8) Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting tight deadlines;
(9) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and communications teams;
(10) A portfolio showcasing relevant design work is mandatory and should be submitted along with the application;
Skills and Competencies:

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of Six months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
