1. POSITIONS VACANT: Finance Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization, New Delhi.

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Finance Consultant for a short-term assignment to support company establishment, financial planning, regulatory readiness, compliance framework development, and business sustainability planning. The consultant will work closely with the relevant legal, financial, and operational advisors to ensure the Company is established with appropriate financial systems, governance structures, and business strategies necessary for successful operations and growth. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Purpose of the Assignment;
(a) The purpose of this consultancy is to provide strategic and technical support for the establishment and operational readiness of the Company, including;
(i) Financial and regulatory planning;
(ii) Corporate compliance readiness;
(iii) Development of financial systems and controls;
(iv) Business viability assessment;
(v) Business development and revenue generation planning;
(vi) Preparation of key tools and frameworks required to support sustainable operations;
(vii) Close coordination between outsource agency for new registrations and set ups. Also, check compliance status/financial model, review risk structure, and six months deliverables;
(2) Key Deliverables;
(a) Five-Year Financial Projection Model;
(b) Business Development and Revenue Generation Strategy;
(c) Risk Assessment and Mitigation Framework;
(d) Final Consultancy Report summarizing findings, recommendations, and next steps for the first 24 months of operations;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification;
(2) Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience;
(3) Demonstrated experience in company incorporation, corporate finance, compliance management, and business planning in India;
(4) Strong understanding of;
(a) Companies Act, 2013;
(b) Goods and Services Tax (GST);
(c) Income Tax regulations;
(d) Labour and employment compliance;
(e) Financial modelling and investment planning;
(5) Prior experience supporting start-ups, SMEs, private sector enterprises, or social enterprises will be an advantage;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong expertise in financial management, corporate finance, and financial planning for private limited companies in India;
(2) Proven skills in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and five-year financial projections;
(3) Strong understanding of corporate compliance, governance, risk assessment, and mitigation frameworks;
(4) Strong capability in developing business development, revenue generation, pricing, and sustainability strategies;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of One month. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
