Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Consultant - Digital Health will provide strategic and technical leadership in leveraging digital health, technology-enabled solutions to strengthen health systems, improve service delivery, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support sustainable, government-owned public health programmes. The consultant will work towards the design, implementation, and scale-up of innovative digital health solutions, using advanced analytics, real-time monitoring, and health information systems to drive programme performance, evidence-based improvements, and informed policy decisions. S/he will be responsible for the following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Coordinate with the Telangana Hub to assess, discuss, and finalise the agreed deliverables, including key requirements, priorities, action points, and timelines;
(2) Follow up with the Telangana Hub and relevant stakeholders on the finalised deliverables, track progress and action points, facilitate required coordination, and document the status and next steps;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have Advanced degree in public health, and medicine;
(2) Minimum 12 years of demonstrated experience in health systems strengthening, digital health, public health technology, monitoring and evaluation, and government advisory or partnership roles;
(3) Proven experience in design, implementation, or scale-up of digital health solutions in public health or health systems contexts;
(4) Strong expertise in monitoring and evaluating digital health interventions and translating evidence into programme and policy decisions;
(5) Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder assignments and produce high - quality technical deliverables;
(6) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong understanding of health information systems, interoperability, data governance, privacy, and responsible technology adoption;
(2) Ability to bridge technical, programmatic, and policy audiences;
(3) Experience in donor-funded programmers, multilateral or bilateral engagements, and cross sector coordination;
(4) Familiarity with implementation research, scale-up planning, and institutionalization of innovations;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of one month. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
