1. POSITIONS VACANT: Sr Program Associate/Program Associate, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for Sr Program Associate/Program Associate will support early-stage private sector engagement, provider relationship building, to generate actionable insights that will help initiate and activate Manyata activities in the state and also inform future programme design and implementation. S/he will be responsible the following tasks:
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Provider and Professional Association Engagement;
(a) Establish and nurture working relationships with district (with deep-dive in 4 districts) and regional FOGSI chapters across Andhra Pradesh;
(b) Develop and maintain a stakeholder engagement tracker covering key office bearers, influential providers, and chapter leadership;
(c) Facilitate introductory one-to-one meetings between client and chapter representatives to introduce the Manyata programme and explore opportunities for collaboration;
(d) Support organization of virtual engagements, webinars, CMEs, roundtables, and orientation sessions;
(e) Conduct preliminary landscaping of provider networks and private maternity / gynecological care ecosystems;
(2) Partnership Development;
(a) Identify and map potential partner facilities, provider networks, and institutions;
(b) Support identification and assessment of potential sites for establishment of Centres of Excellence (COEs) and Clinical Skills Enhancement (CSE) hubs;
(3) Stakeholder Coordination and Private Sector Engagement;
(a) Under the guidance of Client technical leadership and designated focal persons, support engagement with state-level stakeholders relevant to private sector quality improvement initiatives;
(b) Liaise with key clinical and professional stakeholders to facilitate strategic discussions related to Manyata expansion;
(c) Support coordination of meetings, follow-up actions, and documentation of stakeholder discussions;
(4) Strategic Intelligence and Reporting;
(a) Develop updates summarizing stakeholder engagement and partnership opportunities;
(b) Maintain records of outreach activities and stakeholder interactions;
(c) Prepare monthly progress updates summarizing achievements, challenges, risks, and recommendations;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must have advanced degree in public health, health management, business administration, medicine, or a related field;
(2) Minimum 5 years of experience in provider engagement, private sector health, maternal and newborn health, health systems, or programme implementation;
(3) Demonstrated experience working with professional associations, private hospitals, or provider networks;
(4) Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills;
(5) Familiarity with the Andhra Pradesh health ecosystem is strongly preferred;
(6) Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills;
(7) Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Prior experience working with FOGSI chapters or private obstetric providers;
(2) Familiarity with quality improvement, accreditation, Manyata, NABH, or NQAS programmes;
(3) Existing professional networks within Andhra Pradesh's private maternal health ecosystem would be advantageous;
5. Compensation Offered: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

8. NATURE OF Engagement:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Fixed Term Employee (FTE) on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time engagement initially offered for a period of three months. The FTE is extendable based on performance and project requirements.
